Contract Support Assistant – TS/SCI Clearance w/CI Poly Required

Job Description

Leffler Consulting is seeking a highly organized Contract Support Assistant to support an Intelligence Community client in Chantilly. This position will serve on a government team performing all forms of contract-related administrative support through all phases of contract award, administration, and closeout. An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph is required.

Duties
  • Prepare minor contract modifications and associated supporting documentation for actions such as funding, award fee, period of performance extension, and administrative modifications for review and approval by Government personnel
  • Maintain hard copy original contract files, conformed copy, and electronic copy within the agency’s Electronic Procurement Exchange (EPX) Studio contract writing system
  • Prepare and submit expired contracts into the contract close-out (i.e., Settlements) process
  • Distribute contracts documents to internal and external parties
  • Prepare reports as directed by the CO, Team Chief or Senior Contracting Officer
  • Develop tracking systems for action items and other areas as necessary
  • Maintain office files within Windows NT environment
  • Interface with a variety of agency financial management tools
  • Utilize agency records management system to update and maintain files
  • Report suspected instances of fraud and other legal offenses
  • Provide office management support as needed

Required Education
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Required Experience
  • 3+ years of contract support experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
